Hi everyone,

I hope everyone is having a safe, relaxing, and happy holiday season.  I've been recharging the batteries as they say as well as devising a business plan for the new year. 

First, I wanted to start off by saying that the film "Fetish Dolls Die Laughing" is currently the number one viewed film on MaddyGTV.  The film is still able to be viewed there.  I would describe MaddyGTV as sort of a "USA Up All Night" for the internet (for those old enough to remember "USA Up All Night"..HA!).  Most of the content on there would have an R rating (I would label "Die Laughing" at about a mild-moderate R), so it ain't for the kiddies.  You can watch the film by going to the MaddyGTV Website and clicking on the FDDL movie poster (it's free to watch too, btw).  The film will be coming to DVD in the spring of 2012 through World Wide Mulitmedia.  I play the role of Darlene, a naive and annoyingly talkative wannabe model.  Pittsburgh based musician, Josh Loughery scored the film, and Jason English's song "Living Is Dying" is in the film.  He even has a cameo in the film performing the song.  The film was edited by David Dietz of zDiet3 Productions and he also has a small acting role in it.

There is also more in the film category coming in 2012.  The supernatural thriller, "The Farm" (by Ghost Walk Productions) is making it's way around the festival circuit (2nd Annual Independent Film Festival in California and Pandoracon in Cincinnati, OH).  Two songs from my debut album, POET ("Black Forest" and "Ghost-Persephone's Netherrealm Remix") is featured on the soundtrack.  You can find out more at The Farm Movie's Official Website including getting some cool Ghost Walk Productions Merchandise and "The Farm" DVD! 

Another film currently in post-production is the docu-drama, "Resolution: A Portrait of Amelia Earhart."  It was filmed, produced, and edited by zDiet3 Productions.  I play Rosemary (a student at Purdue University where Amelia gave lectures and taught at) and provided the Narration for it.  I don't have a release date as of yet, but as soon as I find out we will let you know:)

I'll also be shooting another film with Eerie Frequency Entertainment and Sound Video Productions (the companies who also put out "The Girl").  It is an apocalyptic film based on the hollow earth theory appropriately titled, "Hollow Earth."  Filming will begin in the spring of 2012.

And of course, there is my personal project, "Driving Nowhere."  We hope to have a small theatrical trailer (the first of three) for you sometime in the early spring.  You can follow the making of it at the Driving Nowhere Website .

Another thing I will be doing is revamping my music webzine.  While I will keep up the content from the original one, I'm also starting from scratch with this one.  One thing I'm passionate about is supporting and promoting independent art.  And one thing that really annoys me is the misconceptions about indie music, film, and all other forms of independent artists.  Somehow if you're an independent artist, you're either "not good enough" or "not driven enough" to 'make it.'  Honestly, some of the hardest working people in the industry are those in the indie world.  Yes, there are some turds in there (but there are also turds in Hollywood too) but there are many people in the indie world who have managed to have success in their field.  While I'm not expecting to change everyone's mind, I hope to maybe shed some light on the issue.  The webzine is Music's Underworld.  While the title is music related, it won't be confined to just music, but music will be the main focus and the first issue will be in January of 2012.  I'm also planning to start up a related radio talk show.  That probably won't come into fruition until the spring of 2012 since I'm in the process of "learning the ropes" of BlogTalkRadio, but you'll definitely be kept informed.

I'll also be continuing to write for the Rogue Cinema Webzine and I started doing book reviews for Horrornews.net .  I also plan to finally finish my poetry project, "Jagged Scars" this year and will inform you when there is to be a release date.

My official website, tiffanyapan.com will also be going through some revamping and we will be working to finish my second full length album.  We also have a couple shows coming soon in the CONCERTS AND APPEARANCES section of this web blog.

There is still time to get my holiday single featuring Chuck Owston, "She Waits Upon the Shore" as a free download until January 6 on CDBaby and Vibedeck.  My 2nd Living Room Sessions and Holiday EP is also available at CDBaby.

A Few New Updates

AND some good news on the film front.  First, supernatural thriller, "The Farm" will be screening in March 2012 at the 2nd Annual Independent Film Festival in California.  Two songs from my album, POET is on the soundtrack and the film boasts an amazing cast.
