News for the Month of June

Hi everyone,

Hope you all are enjoying being on the verge of the first day of summer and surviving the heat. With summer will come a new summer single! At the end of June, we will be releasing "Scarborough Fair (Acoustic Version)" featuring my good friend, Chuck Owston. Those of you who have heard music from my first full length album, "Poet," know that I did a gothic celtic/rock version of the song. I had always wanted to redo the song in a more acoustic setting with a more dark folk sound to it, PLUS using some of the verses from the old traditional song that are almost never used when artists do adaptations of it. So it will basically be a fresh approach to the song plus a new edition to my Living Room Sessions series:) The song will be available digitally via Bandcamp and later will be on CDBaby, iTunes, Amazon, and other major retailers. I am in fact, set up on Bandcamp now and you can visit the page at

As for future living room sessions, I will be doing a rather humerous Russian folk song and I'm toying with the idea of doing a little something with that popular sea shanty, "Drunken Sailor." :) Stay tuned:)

Speaking of releases, I sent out a message about a week ago about the First Month of Summer Special we have going on. Promo copies of my new EP, "Heart Song: The Living Room Sessions EP" are available through the month of June and all you have to do is pay shipping (which for most people, would only be a couple bucks). We may even throw in a special free gift as well. If interested, you may either reply to this email or email us at with your request and we will arrange furthur details:) To hear samples of the EP, visit

If you want other merchandise items at a discount price, you may also visit my ebay store. All items are personally approved and endorsed by me, so any money is going straight to the artist to help with the costs of future projects:) Visit the ebay store at

I have also set up my POETIC ELEMENTS store at Etsy. Once again, merchandise and things are available here including my original artwork and prints of my original artwork. As on ebay, all items are personally approved and endorsed by me and all money goes toward helping the artist:)

We also have some concerts coming up later in the summer and into the fall and I'm playing the role of Muzzy van Hossemere in a theater production of the musical, "Thoroughly Modern Millie" in July. We will post you with details of those soon.

On the film and soundtrack front, the film, "The Girl" will be having it's DVD release on September 13, 2011. Jason and I play the roles of Chuck and Kara in this film and two songs from the album, POET are on the soundtrack. The film gained distribution with Picutredactyl Distribution, LLC. It will be available at select retail stores. For more info on "The Girl" film, visit

The movie is now also listed on IMDB:) Check it out and hit "Like" in support of the film:

Also, feel free to visit my page there as well:) Clicking on "Like" in support is always appreciated:)

I've also been cast in the new apacolyptic thriller, "Hollow Earth" with Eerie Frequency Entertainment (same team that made "The Girl") starring Sierra Holmes (those of you who watched the second season of VH1's "Scream Queens" may remember Sierra). It is set to begin film in late summer of 2011 and continue into the winter of 2012. We will keep you posted on furthur developments.

I'm also involved with the Ghost Walk Productions film, "The Farm" which is currently in production. Two songs from POET are on the soundtrack (the "Ghost remix" and "Black Forest") and will also be on the film's soundtrack CD. I'm also helping them with raising funds for the film. Even with just donating $1, you are helping with feeding the cast and crew, equipment maintenance, and more. Plus, you can get some cool items including your name in the credits. For more information, visit "The Farm" movie's official website:

and their indiegogo page:

Plus, stay tuned for my own indiegogo page for my second full length album "Elements" giving you guys also opportunity to be part of the process:)

Finally, I don't know how many people do Yahoo groups anymore, but I've resurrected the concept of me having one. It will be more for photo shoots and such (as I have way too many photos to post on my profiles and websites) but music and film projects can also be discussed there as well. Just another place to support my artistic endeavors:) To join, visit

Well, that's all for now:) Thanks as always:)
